We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to oversee our busy and bustling restaurant at The Royal Cancun Resort. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, overseeing inventory and supplies, maintaining high-quality service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will also be responsible for implementing new strategies to grow revenue, promote our brand, and increase customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a similar role, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a strong knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff, including servers, cooks, and support staff. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
Monitor and maintain quality control to ensure that all food and service meet high standards. Develop and implement new strategies to increase revenue, attract new customers, and improve customer engagement. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are being followed at all times. Prepare reports, budgets, and financial forecasts to measure performance and set goals for the future.
At least five years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu development and wine selection.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred.
